Below, you will find a list of aircraft that were leased by ACL. They have not been included in the main section due to the fact that many of them spent only a short time with their relevant lessors, before being returned to their rightful owners. Please note that this list includes all commercial aircraft that were leased from non-SEN businesses or airlines. All aircraft that were leased by companies related to the respective airlines above, can be found in the main aircraft type menu.

Bristol 170 Freighter Mk21 – c/n 12827

Leased by Air Charter from Jun 1956 to Oct 1956

With one of ACL’s Bristol Freighters being constantly employed on government business within Germany during 1956, G-AINL was temporarily leased to bolster the ever growing cross-Channel, car ferry fleet. She would invariably position to and from Wolverhampton and Birmingham during the week where another commitment saw her undertaking filming work on a Kenneth Moore film, before returning to Southend each weekend when the car ferry services were at their busiest. Her final flight for the company came on the 19th of October, flying the Calais – Southend route.
