Starflite Air Taxis

starflite G-AVTS

Operated from May 1974 to Jan 1975

Starflite was yet another of the small, short lived, air taxi companies that made their home at Southend during the 1970s. This company was registered in February and by May it had received its first aircraft which was then put into service flying taxi and executive services, either on domestic charters or on flights across the Channel to Belgium, France and Holland. A second aircraft would join the fleet in September, but demand began to decrease with the onset of winter and by January of the the following year, Starflite had gone out of business.
