Hendon Air Services

Operated at SEN from c.Apr 1976 to c.Apr 1981

Founder/Director – Unknown

Starting out in Chislehurst, Kent, Hendon Air Services eventually moved to Southend during the spring of 1976. The main remit of this company was to act as one of two official distributors and maintenance facilities for Italian Bellanca aircraft in the British Isles. Several aircraft were registered to the company during the time Hendon was resident at SEN and these were likely used as demonstrators. It is unknown what happened to this company, but it is believed that it disappeared from the airport sometime during the spring of 1981.
