There are undoubtedly very few people who have not heard of this huge Dutch owned, multinational electrical manufacturer. Needless to say, companies of this size more than often have a small fleet of corporate aircraft with which they can move their executives, V.I.P.s and key staff about with consummate ease and it was such equipment that became somewhat regular visitors to SEN from the early 60s through to the late 1970s. Some of this company’s many recorded visits include Dove PH-ILI on December 4th 1961 and Heron PH-ILA on February 8th 1968, while several bizprops and bizjets would later put in appearances with Falcon PH-LPS arriving on August 18th 1968, Gulfstream PH-FJP flying in on September 20th 1971, Falcon PH-ILX popping in on January 7th 1973 while King Air 200 PH-ILG ventured in on July 13th 1981. Most of these arrivals coincided with corporate visits to British companies such as Plessey Electronics.
